Teremtetted az embert s most unsz ?

Miért teszed? Pedig én benned bíztam !

Saját képedre teremtetted meg a férfit,

S most megbolondult minden, ez is tévhit ?

Tégy rendet e világban, vagy pusztuljunk el ?

Javítsad meg az embert, isteni kezeddel !

Régen méltónak tartottad hogy élhessünk,

S most elbújsz akkor, s hagyod elvérezzünk ?

Lásd én nem hagyom, vérem adom,

Isten ! Még ha tőled csak halált kapom !

Nem hagyom, minden bűnt újra ránk sózzál,

Kérlek, igazságos törvényeket hozzál !

Milyen isten az ki a teremtettét megöli ?

Megkínozva egy életen át csak gyötöri ?

Milyen isten az ki nem áll ki mellettünk ?

Milyen isten az ki nem velünk van, hanem ellenünk ?

Hát szólj magasságos, miért hallgatsz ?

Bármit mondasz, te meg nem halhatsz !

Igaz a mondás... az igazság odaát van,

Mondd isten, miért nem vagy velünk a bajban ?

Már látom s érzem az isteni dühödet,

Nincs már benned sajnálat s könyörület !

Ráfogsz mindent a sátánra s ördögre,

De tudd nem vagy te egyedül a világok őre !
